If you are doing a main quest you cannot track a side quest. If the host has a side quest selected, you have to select the same quest in order to track it. You can't do (track) a side mission when you are halfway through a main mission. Finish that main quest and you'll be able to side quest to your hearts content. Thanks, that explains it.

I’ve loved all the Dead Island entries and this one is just a snooze fest. Writing is super bland, quests are uninspired, combat is just pressing R1 and dodging for the most part (I do like turning into a zombie and the special abilities), you never really find random survivors out in the world or cool legendary weapons.

Co-op only worked one day and didn't work after. It's fine if we quick join randoms and invite each other to that session but if we were to invite each other the loading screen just go on forever and we can't join each other lol. Have been looking for a fix but have yet to. Dissapointing tbh.

If the co-op in Dead Island 2 isn’t working, it’s not due to an overloaded multiplayer server from Dambuster Studios, since the communication from the multiplayer takes place via a peer-to-peer connection.
